Essential Oils On-The-Go

While essential oils have been around for centuries, the value they offer has always needed to extend to where we spend the most time. When I began to work with My Choice Aromatherapy, one of the biggest motivations for me was the innovation the company had, which meant I was able to write about exciting ways of merging essential oils and how those blends would impact people. I wanted to share with you these essential oil blends I personally love and ones that have resonated most with our customers:
  • Harmony (Cinnamon, Vanila and Tonka bean oils): A clear favorite by our customers, Harmony delivers the warmth you'd only expect to find on your sofa in front of a fall wood-burning fireplace. The sweet and spicy aromas effortlessly create a calming feeling.
  • Soothing (Lavender, Ylang Ylang and Patchouli oils): Another top choice of so many who can't resist the beauty of lavender. This blend takes lavender to a new level by incorporating a middle note of Ylang Ylang while Patouchli essential oil sustains the longevity of the blend.
  • Rejuvenate (Lemongrass, Eucalyptus, Kaffir Lime): A delicious scent through and through, anyone who enjoys sweet and citrus scents will surely fall in love with this blend of essential oils, as these oils work together to create an energetic and lively scent, perfect for a busy car pool.
  • Breathe Fresh (Pine Needle, Rosemary, Petitgrain and Mandarin):  You've never experienced the winter air or mountain pine in your car as you will with this invigorating blend of essential oils!
  • Energizer (Ginger, Clove Leaf, Lemon and Ylang Ylang): An essential oil blends that is sure to uplift one's commute, as clove and lemon effectively create an energy that is quickly noticed.
  • Booster (Sweet Basil, Sandalwood, Rosemary and Lemon): Sweet basil strikes us as a subtly when used in cooking. The essential oil acts in similar fashion, being modest yet having a distinct impact on the blend, while playing a vital role in your mood and overall wellbeing.
  • Inspire (Jasmine, Mandarin and Ylang Ylang): Have you ever walked the streets in southern Europe during the summer months? If so, there's a good chance you were taken away by the seductive scent of Jasmine. This blend features a strong middle to base note of Jasmine, which means you're going to really get a dose of its most natural state with hints of mandarin and Ylang Ylang, perfectly bringing this blend to life and keeping your senses entertained!
There is no single essential oil or blend that will fit all preferences or needs. As an aromatherapist, I can encourage you to experiment with oils that suit your taste until you find one that provides you with the experience you most need at that given time. For instance, while Lavender is highly regarded for calming, Clary Sage contains similar stress reducing properties. Therefore, it's best to try them out until you find the one for you.
